There is a lot of information contained within this episode and the plot feels as if it's being deliberately held back at times, however, Radio Silence is an integral episode to this season's plot development and character arcs. Stiles and Peter try to hatch a plan to escape. Is this a sign that Peter has changed for the better or a matter or simple expediency? Once Peter leaves Eichen House, attempting to steal a car and drive away, he is confronted and shot by the wild hunt and kidnapped. He does not, however, kill any of the guards during his escape. It seems, as prisoners and guards clash in the hallways that most of the prisoners in at least this wing of Eichen House do not possess supernatural abilities or preternatural strength as Peter does, since the guards subdue many a prisoner while Peter walks casually through the hallways, taking the only guard who approaches him out in one punch. In the intervening time, however, the cell doors unlock and prisoners escape into the hallways to be confronted by guards.

The second after Peter carves the alpha sign in the floor of his cell with a sharp cutting tool of some sort, the lights in Eichen House immediately go off, prompting the backup generator to kick on. We finally see how Peter escaped Eichen House, which is something fans have been waiting quite awhile to see.
